Meet Jolene: 1.5 year old Hound/Lab mix

The family is seeking alternative living arrangements for Jolene as they feel she is not living up to her full potential and getting the love and attention she deserves while the family attends to their 1 year old and have a second child on the way. She is extremely loving and sweet and just wants to be included in all the activities. She loves to cuddle up on the couch with you and will gladly lay her 70lb body right on your lap!

Jolene is a very active pup with high intelligence and high energy. She absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with another pup and large fenced in yard. She has been with her family since 12 weeks old and has lived with a baby and a cat (though would do better in a home without a cat – she has a high hunting drive). She has been through puppy and dog training since adoption and knows all her basic commands like sit, down, off, and “go crate”. She walks wonderfully on a leash with the assistance of a prong collar.

Jolene would do best with an owner who has the time & energy to invest in her physical and mental stimulation. She loves chewing heavy duty bones and is gentle with furniture. She’s completely house broken and crate trained. Jolene is spayed and up to date on all of her shots.
