Summer 2024 Best Friends
It’s been a busy summer, please forgive the delay, but we are super excited to catch up on these Best Friend of the Month announcements! Here is May, June, July, & August!
Our thanks go out to the parents of Maverick, Jack, Laddie, & Hazel for sharing them with us. Congratulations, we have some silly prizes for you, and we will be displaying their pictures on our Wall of Besties for one year. We hope you enjoy this proud achievement and all the bragging rights that come with it!
MAY BEST FRIEND OF THE MONTH: MAVERICK
Maverick is just the sweetest boy! He loves to give hugs to the playground supervisors, who will refer to him as “our little seal” because he is just too cute and looks like a precious seal. He will happily play with people, pups, and toys, content in any situation! All the nominations for Maverick talked about how he is extremely well-behaved in group, and all our team members agree that Maverick is an all-around good boy that brings happiness and joy to our days. The Best Friend of the Month title is basically a perfect pup award, making Maverick an extremely deserving winner with the endearing combination of his sweet disposition and his sweet face! We love our affectionate boy!!
JUNE BEST FRIEND OF THE MONTH: JACK
Jack, surely one of the most adorable golden retrievers you will ever meet, is friends with everyone in his group and will literally play the role of dog handler assistant to his favorite dog handlers, and everyone loves it when Jack is in their group. The grooming team jumped in on this one too, because he is a true star for his spa days. He loves to be brushed and he loves being showered with affection while he gets cleaned up. Jack has been taught to sit calmly when he is being greeted by or introduced to new people, but you can tell how he excited he is to meet a new friend! He is very snuggly, and he loves to play, so in group he has the perfect balance of play and rest. Jack may be the perfect golden retriever, and the perfect member of our pack!
JULY BEST FRIEND OF THE MONTH: LADDIE
| Laddie is a big beautiful 3 1/2-year-old black lab with a chunky head (and chunky butt!) and a perfectly happy goofy smiling face! He is actually perfect, a 10/10 in every way. He is a true gentleman that loves to give kisses, is polite on leash, and is a friend to all. He is patient, happy, and a true pleasure to have in group. Laddie is an all-around good boy who is always in a good mood and lifts our spirits just by showing up! Laddie loves to play in the pool, loves to be brushed, loves to play with dogs, loves to play with people, and loves to play with toys! It seems that all things are his favorite things! He has never met a stranger, and his energy is always uplifting. We love all that Laddie brings, every day! |
AUGUST BEST FRIEND OF THE MONTH: HAZEL
This beautiful Australian Shepherd is Hazel, aka Hurricane Hazel, AKA Miss Wiggly. Since puppyhood to adulthood she’s been a great player and a happy, sweet, always welcoming pup. She’s perfect for any play group because she makes friends everywhere she goes. Her unique freckled face always has a happy expression, and one thing that makes her extra special to us is that she always barks a goodbye to the front desk before leaving! Hazel has a goofy side to her too. Half the time she is playing you can find her laying belly up! She also loves the pool, loves to climb on, under, around, and over the play equipment, and loves to play with toys! We love her energy and she is just so much fun! It is easy to see why she is a staff favorite and an uber-deserving winner of Best Friend of the Month!
