Late Check-In’s Alert

Love My Doggy Day Care is proud to be just passing our six-month young mark. Being the owner of a start-up business has been, and I know will continue to be, an amazing experience. The successes we’ve enjoyed to date couldn’t be accomplished without you, of course!

Thanks to you, I’m pleased to tell you that we’ve recently had 50-55 doggy check-in’s on some days. And while I’m happy that we are able to help so many pet parents care for the best friends, there is a flip-side to this. Believe it or not, with that number of dogs, we’ve reached the capacity of our currently available physical space, and of the strict safety ratio we keep of staff-to-dogs. Since we’ve opened, we’ve been fairly loose about enforcing our check-in times of 7-9 am (this applies to Monday – Friday). But the purpose of this note is to urge you to drop your pup off within this time frame. Because as much as we do not want to, I’m afraid we will have no choice but to not admit your pup if we already have 55 dogs checked in. Additionally, if you know you’re going to be checking in late, I’d like to encourage you to make a reservation so that we can hold a spot for you. You can simply call us, or feel free to use the online reservation form here.

These late check-in “holds” will be done on a limited basis only, and we can’t guarantee a hold, but I do promise that we will do our best to accommodate you whenever possible. We certainly appreciate your understanding of this, and please accept my personal apologies now for any inconvenience this may cause.

Also, please note, check-in’s at 1 pm for afternoon half-day day care services are still perfectly fine! We expect that there will be corresponding check-out’s from the morning half-day services to balance it all out!

Here’s some good news – We have plenty of space to grow into! There is still a large portion of the building that is un-developed. We hope to start an expansion project in 2016, and all of you, as part of the Love My Doggy Day Care friends and family, will certainly be kept informed about any work we start.
