PARDON THE CHAOS!

You’ve heard us talking about it for the better part of a year. You may have been starting to wonder if it was ever going to happen. I know I was! But, FINALLY, I’d like to share some exciting news with all of you. The construction is scheduled! That’s right, we are FINALLY starting work on our expansion.

As many of you have experienced, construction timelines are slippery, but we estimate a late September opening of “Phase 2”. Phase 2 will literally double our capacity. This is something we are all looking forward to, especially any of you that have had the experience of trying to make a reservation and being turned down because we were full.

While this is great and exciting news, I’d like to also take this opportunity to give everyone a head’s up. With construction, comes chaos. There’s no getting around it. We’ll have noise and dirt and smells. We’ll have no choice but to close Day Care on certain days, but obviously, we will do our very best to minimize these disruptions.

We also will have no choice than to actually LOWER our DAILY capacity during certain parts of the construction, as some areas of the building will be off-limits to dogs. For example, when we are busting through the walls that border our outdoor play space, this means that outdoor play will not be usable. Bryl and I, and the whole Love My Doggy Day Care team, sincerely appreciate your support and your understanding. We apologize for the tremendous inconvenience we know this will cause. It is driven by the desire to make things better for you and your dogs.

The unfortunate truth is that it will get worse before it gets better. But when it’s done, it will be amazing! And we will have a special event to show it off to all of you!

If you are in a bind during this time and we are unable to accept your dog, please be sure to specify if your needs could be met with your dog being in a boarding suite during the day instead of in a play group. We know most of our pups come to play, but sometimes the pet parents just need to make sure their dog is fed, watered, and given the chance to potty during the day, and we can certainly do that.

If you have any questions during this process, please let Bryl or me know. Lastly, I’d like to thank you for the trust you have put in us – we are privileged to enjoy the success to date that has put us in the position to be expanding now. Thank you for choosing Love My Doggy Day Care!
