We’re catching up — and trust us, these two are well worth the wait, and the perfect way to wrap up the year! Please join us in celebrating our Best Friends of the Month for November and December, two very special pups who have completely captured our hearts.
November Best Friend of the Month: Cooper
| Our November winner is none other than Cooper, the big, handsome lab with the soul of a wise old gentleman and the heart of a total sweetheart – and the undisputed King of the Break Room. Cooper is perfectly capable of group play — and when he joins in, he mostly just vibes — but let’s be honest: his true calling is the break room couch. Somewhere along the way, what started as a break room cleanup turned into a full-on Cooper room makeover, complete with blankets, pillows, and a cozy setup fit for day care royalty. Cooper confidently decides his fate each day: group time if he’s feeling social, or couch time if he’s feeling… regal. Yes, it’s true – Cooper is a nap champion. And while people love to stop by to tuck him in when he is found snoozing, don’t be fooled – he will still rise for butt scratches, and every now and then, he surprises us with zoomies or goes from sleepy sleep king to absolutely wild for a tennis ball. Cooper gives us a reason to smile every day. He’s great on walks and it’s worth mentioning that he has even mastered the stairs, for a well-earned treat tax! December Best Friend of the Month: Penny
| For December we are thrilled to crown the beautiful, fluffy, and ever-so-polite Miss Penny! Penny is a stunning Samoyed with a heart to match her cloud-like coat. From day one, she’s impressed our staff with her sweetness, loyalty, and gentle nature. While many dogs greet everyone in the lobby, Penny makes a beeline straight for her mom — full attention, full love — truly the perfect example of (wo)man’s best friend. When Penny first joined us, she participated in our Independent Care, where her curiosity and excitement for the dogs around her were impossible to miss. She clearly wanted to play, and now that she’s part of our group play, she is absolutely living her best life! Her transition into group has been seamless — she’s respectful, friendly, and kind to both dogs and humans alike. Staff describe Penny as: –A perfect angel baby girl –Polite, sweet, and happy just to exist –A gorgeous love bug and a top-tier cuddler –A giant fluff ball who loves hugs, gives kisses, and never turns down affection In short: everything about Penny is perfect.
