February Besties Sunny & Papoose
We have a tradition of making an extra big deal out of it when we vote on the Best Friend honors for the month in which we celebrate Valentines — because after all, Love is in our name! Every year we vote on a special pair to share the title of February Best Friend of the Month. We had some fabulous duos on the slate this time! Best playmates, best couples (seriously, you can tell when a dog has a crush on another dog!), best siblings, best twinsies — it was a very tough vote! The staff campaigned hard this time because truly we couldn’t have gone wrong with so many great options. But looking at this photo montage, I think you will all agree that it truly can’t get any cuter than the love Sunny and Papoose have for each other! Both these love bugs are super sweet dogs who love to give kisses and lots of attention to each other. They are always hanging out by each other’s sides! These best friends show what doggy day care is all about— where best friends come to play!! Watching the two of them together, you can see the definition of best friends and true love. They can either be found snuggling on top of each other or playing like crazy. They match each other’s play style perfectly. They are both super playful and love other dogs, and tennis balls! Sunny is a perfect girl, who will play all day, and make friends with every single dog that is in the room with her. Papoose is such a loving pup, who can match any dogs energy, and is great at helping the new dogs feel welcome. Sunny and Papoose are truly the perfect pair (and make some of the other pups jealous!!) We also love these two so much. One of the things these two pups also have in common is that they’ve both come a long way since they first started day care — we’ve seen them grow, mature, and become day care pros! They both started out as very high energy dogs and have learned amazing group manners and have become great listeners. Please join us in spreading the love and congratulating Papoose and Sunny’s people, we know this is a proud moment for them! I am sure they agree whole-HEARTedly that their pups are very deserving of the title of Best Friends of the Month!
