| Wheiler is August Best Friend of the Month. We see a lot of dogs every day. All different shapes, sizes, and personalities. Never before and never again will there be a dog quite like Wheiler. He is a handsome cattle dog mix who has perfected ‘puppy dog eyes’. Like most cattle dogs, Wheiler is smart, loyal and as stubborn as can be. But with one trait that makes him different than most: Wheiler is not so much a cattle dog as he is a “cuddle” dog. He gets along with all kinds of pups, but would rather be on a lap than romping around most of the time. He puts us in the best of moods even on rainy days because he’s very generous with his kisses an even gives great hugs! Wheiler’s owner is lucky to have him and we’re even luckier that he shares him with us.
