Beauty is OCTOBER BEST FRIEND OF THE MONTH

The vote was unanimous! Beauty, AKA “Big Sexy”, won the hearts of the staff like no other. Hers is a very special story. Her first mom moved away from PA a few of years ago, but not before finding what she believed was a suitable home for Beauty. But then a couple of weeks ago, Beauty was turned into the Animal Care & Control Team (ACCT) Center in Philadelphia as a stray, after being found on the streets. It was obvious that Beauty had had puppies recently, but we don’t know where they puppies are. Beauty’s first mom had microchipped her, and the new owners had never updated the contact information on the microchip account, so when ACCT scanned Beauty, they were able to identify and contact her original owner. Long story short, Beauty and her mom are reunited now! But in between, Love My Doggy Day Care had the privilege of having Beauty as our house guest until transport could be arranged to her new home. The staff literally had tears in their eyes saying good bye to her, when her private first-class transport van arrived! We miss you already Big Sexy!
